Resolute Legal was born out of the VISION of its two founder Directors:
George McLoughlin & Tom Kennedy.
They are joint Directors and equal shareholders.
Their vision is to offer access to justice to tenants living in deplorable housing conditions throughout England & Wales.
Resolute Legal Limited is authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We are, what is known as an ‘Alternative Business Structure’ which allows lawyers and non-lawyers, to come together to own a law firm.
This allows Resolute Legal to combine two heavy weights of the Claimant legal sector – which we believe will only benefit our clients.
Resolute Legal aims to be a dynamic modern law firm which is focused on achieving results for their clients by offering agile legal thinking and dedication to a first-class service.
George McLoughlin
George is a Solicitor who qualified in 1989. He is Head of Housing & Dispute Resolution.
Throughout his career he has exclusively acted for Claimants in all aspects of complex civil and high value commercial dispute resolution, particularly through mediation. He is renowned for his relaxed style and committed client focus. He likes to win cases.
Over the past 8 years he has refined his ligation experience in the area of housing disrepair. He is considered as one of the foremost housing disrepair Solicitors and has been described, as both a ‘visionary’ and ‘pioneer’ in regard to bringing access to justice for private tenants.
George is the author of a number of articles on housing disrepair, and offers training to Solicitors firms who might be considering entering this area of law.
He is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (MCIEH)
Tom Kennedy
Tom has worked in the legal sector since 2012, where he met George. At that time, he was heavily involved with the proliferation of Claimant housing disrepair cases and therefore access to justice.
Tom has a passion for ethics and compliance, and is a fierce advocate in this arena.
Tom is forward thinking in terms of combining technology to marketing.
In 2016 he founded Nuovo Law Limited, as a claim management company. He is sole Director

With Tom at the helm, Nuovo over the last 5 years has become arguably the leading supplier of quality housing disrepair and Environmental Protection cases to the Claimant housing Solicitor sector.
It was therefore a ‘no-brainer’ for George and Tom to join forces and to bring their considerable but distinct attributes together for the benefit of Resolute Legal’s clients.
